Rusty's Homecoming...or whatever they are called now

My handsome lil' brother...anyone want a date?

Our awesome Mother, who made a delicious feast of all her glorious garden fruits and veggies. She is quite amazing.
I love Avery's expression in this pic.
My very handsome hubby...he pulled a muscle in his leg the night before while we were minature golfing and was just taking it easy...poor guy. He plays one mean game of mini-golf.The cutest little boy in the world. He sure loves to explore Grandma's garden. He loves plants and animals. The girls that came to checkout Rusty, the people that wanted a free meal and family...j/k
Awww...so cute!

The gay rainbow cake, that everyone thought it was so darling...but really...it was another practical joke...my family is full of jokster and jokes. You have to know how to laugh at yourself in this family...hahaha!

Hello, blog world! It has been a while. I have so much to post and will get to it all very soon. My days have be filled to the max, between swim lessons, dance lessons, preschool, working on my business, being a mom, playing with my kids, anniversary, a return missionary, showers, weddings and everything else. My weeks and my days have been crazy busy and I"m running on low in the sleep department, but I wouldn't trade a minute of it all. You'll be hearing about it all soon...keep checking back!

Elder Rusty is HOME!

Today we welcomed home my little bro. Elder Rusty from his mission in the Utica, New York Mission. The kids were excited as you can see. Actually, this was George's first time meeting Rusty and Avery was only 16 months when he left on his mission, however, Avery does remember Rusty (she has an incredible memory). He was suppose to come in at 2pm, but due to delays he got in at 6pm. It was wonderful to greet Rusty and have him safely home.If you look closely, you can see the detail on the shirts I made for Avery & George to wear. Rusty loved them...everyone got a good laugh.

Rusty sure missed his little Avery and informed us of that every time we got to talk with him. He has been looking forward to this moment for 2 years! Can you feel the love?

This is my absolutely FAVORITE picture from the day. My two brothers that like to joke about being gay and now I have proof. It looks like that are about to kiss (really they are going in for a hug). We all had a huge laugh about this picture. I even laugh so hard, I had tears streaming down my face. Here's to you Joe (another inside joke).

Welcome Home Rusty and good luck with the next few weeks entering back into the world.

A Night at the County Fair

Lastnight, we took the kids to the Salt Lake County Fair. My parents meet up with us shortly after we got there. We had a fantastic evening. The rain and cloud cover made it nice, cool and very enjoyable. The kids couldn't get enough of the rides and animals. Later that night we were all able to watch the fireworks from the window in George's room. Fun times and great memories! I wish you could have all seen how EXCITED George was to be surrounded by all the little animals. He loved, loved, loved the Petting Zoo!
